The terms used here as “our,” “we,” and “us” refer to Mettle by Abby and the terms “you,” “reseller,” “retailer,” and “your” refer to anyone using this website, holding an account with Mettle by Abby or otherwise doing business with Mettle by Abby and you are held accountable to these terms.
“Business days” for Mettle by Abby are Tuesday-Saturday.
Typical hours of operation are Tuesday-Friday 10:00am-5:30pm EST and Saturday 10:00am-4:00pm.
Opening Orders: Opening order minimum is $500 and you will receive free shipping. Future orders are a $250 minimum and you will also receive free shipping! It is recommended that opening orders include at least 15 pieces to have a variety to offer. In our experience, the more you have, the more you will sell and draw interest. Feel free to contact us if you require something different or for a personalized recommendation for your store’s first order. We are happy to help!
Stock: We want you to be able to keep a fresh array of our product. In order to help with this, we offer you the ability to exchange pieces that are unworn and purchased within 12 months at a rate of 2:1 with new purchase orders. That is, you may exchange half the amount of a new purchase order with product that you currently own. Any pieces that arrive damaged or worn will be charged to your account accordingly. Pieces purchased over 12 months ago that you wish to exchange are eligible but will need to be reviewed.
All returned/exchanged pieces must be shipped in a secure and protective manner that will not damage the piece. Failure for Mettle by Abby to receive returns and exchanges is failure for the return or exchange to be completed at our discretion. Returned items cannot be applied to previous account balances. Returns will only be credited towards future purchases.
Payment Terms: At least half of the payment is required at the time of shipping or delivery for opening purchases. Future purchases can also be paid with half up front minimum with the remaining balance having net 30 terms. We reserve the right to change this payment policy at any time. Contact us for full net 30 terms after your second purchase order if you are interested.
Any order not paid fully at the time of shipping or delivery must be backed by a credit card that will be charged if full payment is not received by the appropriate date. In the event that the payment is unable to be collected, late fees will be applied and after 50 days from the purchase date it is susceptible to be sent to a collections agency. Appropriate fees apply for returned checks. Any past due accounts will not be able to reorder or exchange until the account has been paid.
Credit cards will be processed through PayPal to ensure security and your privacy.
General Terms: Mettle by Abby reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions for this site and product at any time. Any changes made will be effective immediately. We reserve the right to terminate an account at any time for any reason. You must not abuse, hack, or change this website in any way. Any information you provide us must be accurate, true, and up to date. Mettle by Abby is not liable for any information that has been supplied fraudulently or inaccurately.
Product Quality: We stand behind the quality of our product, but it must be understood that it is a hand-forged line of jewelry and some variations will occur. Product dimensions are relative and may vary. If you are dissatisfied with a product you receive for any reason, please contact us within 5 business days of receiving it. Any products that arrive damaged must be reported within 2 weeks of receiving the item. Many purchases are eligible for exchange of equal or greater value and evaluated on a case by case basis.
Our products are built with quality and durability in mind. Any damages incurred within a year of purchase are eligible for repair or exchange at our discretion. Any damages incurred past a year of purchase are subject to repair fees. Resellers are able to make their own decision to charge the retail customer for repairs that the reseller incurs, but if Mettle by Abby did not charge the reseller for the repair, than the retail customer must not be charged. Shipping charges for returning damaged goods will be evaluated on a case by case basis.
Shipping: Free shipping! (Order minimum of $250 after opening order.) We strive to ship quickly and in one shipment. If we are unable to ship a complete order, we will contact you within 2-3 business days. Orders will ship within 1-2 weeks of being placed when items are in stock and 2-4 weeks for out of stock items. If for any reason this time will be extended, you will be notified immediately. For large purchase orders on out of stock items there runs a potential risk of certain parts being backordered. In the event of this case, we are willing to work with you on alternative options to reach a solution.
Rush orders are subject to additional fees. If you require a rush order, please contact us as soon as you can to ensure the fastest delivery.
Pricing: Mettle by Abby suggests a 2.5x mark up for retail. We will market to the public at this level and sell at the retail level with this markup. Prices are subject to change at any time without notification.
Custom Orders: Special and custom orders cannot be returned, exchanged, or canceled.
Reselling Requirements: It is understood that you are a legitimate reseller and it is illegal to supply fraudulent, incorrect, or misleading information in order to purchase wholesale items for anything other than resale. All online account information must be kept confidential. Do not allow access to your Mettle by Abby online wholesale account to anyone.
